Classroom Assistant

Cuso International is seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Assistant to join our team in the Northwest Territories, Canada. As a Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education of Indigenous students in grades 4-12.

As a volunteer, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide academic support, facilitate learning, and promote cultural understanding. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with students, inspire them to learn, and help them achieve their full potential.

• Provide academic support to students in grades 4-12
• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
• Facilitate learning and promote cultural understanding
• Support students with special needs
• Participate in community events and activities

• Completed university degree or college diploma
• Ability to pass a vulnerable sector police check
• Currently residing in Canada
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
