About the Role
Colliers Project Leaders is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Northern Canada Business Unit in Yellowknife, NT. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with clients to deliver strategic guidance and contribute to impactful projects that elevate standards of living and improve quality of life through enhanced community infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community leaders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide project delivery support to assigned Project Managers to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Collaborate with community governments and Indigenous groups to foster economic growth and promote reconciliation efforts.
- Gain knowledge of Colliers' service lines and actively promote these services to support clients effectively.
- Execute tasks in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain high standards of work.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, with exposure supporting project delivery in fields such as construction, engineering, abatement, and remediation.
- A technical certification or diploma in Engineering or Construction (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
- Familiarity with codes, regulations, contracts, construction administration, and site inspections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A client-focused approach with excellent customer service abilities.
