Job Summary

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op. As a Co-op student, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop your skills, and gain valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project team through the engineering and execution phases of the Reformer Coil and Debottleneck Projects.
  • Work with members of the project team to help coordinate the contractors completing the work.
  • Help engineers manage change through coordination of the Request for Information (RFI) process.
  • Perform in-field task support, troubleshooting, and project support.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and be an administrator of RFO Central.
  • Help engineers update isometrics, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.

Requirements

  • Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in mechanical or chemical/process engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an operating facility.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
