Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at the Red Deer Home Centre. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or computer-aided drawings to provide customers with detailed estimates.
  • Support the tendering process by providing quantities, costing, and descriptive information associated with building projects.
  • Develop and maintain a Vendor Reference Database to track material-specific information and research alternative vendors when needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, building inspectors, and material vendors.
  • Conduct site visits and outside sales to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction estimation.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
