Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Definitive Optimization Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications, as well as carrying out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare standards and schedules.
  • Test machines and equipment.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Willingness to travel.
