Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Definitive Optimization Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications, as well as carrying out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer-aided design (CAD) skills and be proficient in SolidWorks software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare standards and schedules
  • Test machines and equipment
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
