R&D Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Project Manager to join our team at Z953. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing software development projects from conception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to implement, maintain and deploy new features.
- Customer Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
- Product Development Planning: Collaborate with the Product Team to define product requirements, roadmaps, and development cycles.
- Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable and robust software solutions in collaboration with the development team and Z953's principal architect.
- Technical Client Solution Management: Act as the technical point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with experience in software development.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a software development team.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer-Facing Experience: Excellent communication skills and experience in a technical customer-facing role.
- Solution Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer sciences or equivalent.
- Experience: 7+ years of software development experience.
- Leadership Experience: Leadership experience with agile development methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented software design principles, experience with Python and Django (or the desire to learn), experience with relational databases, and strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails: Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Containerization Technologies: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Big Data and Data Engineering: Knowledge of Big Data and Data Engineering frameworks: Apache Beam, Google Cloud Data Flow, Google Big Query.
- Telecom Architecture: Basic knowledge of telecom architecture and concepts from the perspective of an independent software vendor (ISV). Experience with Twilio APIs.
- Customer Service: Knowledge of customer service, and customer experience in the retail industry.
