Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all production areas, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality products.
  • Monitor and maintain morale among employees, recognizing and celebrating their successes.
  • Engage the team in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on machine efficiency, labor utilization, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement plans to drive continuous improvements, including NCR and complaints reduction, HSE risk reduction, and process optimization.
  • Attend regular work center and plant meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Fulfill leader standard work responsibilities, including training and development of employees.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling to build operating schedules and meet production and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy of production reporting systems and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Implement KanBan procedures to ensure timely ordering and delivery of production supplies and materials.
  • Provide training to employees on quality management systems, lean manufacturing techniques, and ISO requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO standards, maintaining high-quality products and processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum Community College education in a technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of World Class manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in production management, quality manufacturing methods, and employee training and development.
  • Familiarity with materials used in manufacturing and assembly, with knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO quality systems.
