Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide information to guests and colleagues.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide awareness training to employees.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support newcomers and refugees, assist with settlement needs, and support social and labour market integration.
- Support for Youth: Participate in initiatives that support youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide cultural competency training.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in initiatives that support visible minorities, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
