Plastic Manufacturing Production Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our plastic manufacturing operations. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence and efficiency in a dynamic work environment.
Work EnvironmentThe role is set in a fast-paced and noisy production area, where you will be responsible for managing a team of production workers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision: Lead, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff engaged in the operation of processing machines and the fabrication, assembly, finishing, or inspection of plastic components.
- Process Improvement: Develop strategies to meet production schedules and collaborate with other departments to enhance workflow.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Recommend and implement measures to boost productivity and improve product quality.
- Training: Educate staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Resource Management: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
You will supervise a team of plastic products assemblers, finishers, and inspectors.
Technical SkillsProficiency in MS Office is required for effective reporting and communication.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
Transportation RequirementsApplicants must have own transportation as well as access to public transit options.
Physical DemandsThe position involves repetitive tasks and the handling of heavy loads, requiring physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Weight HandlingAbility to lift items weighing more than 45 kg (100 lbs) is essential.
Personal AttributesThe ideal candidate will possess excellent oral communication skills, be organized, a team player, and demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities.
