About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Amma's Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of food for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and mentor a team of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Staff Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train new staff members to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment

As an Executive Chef at Amma's Kitchen, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
