About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our team at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our investment management activities are conducted in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all investment management activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including securities laws, financial regulations, and industry standards.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to investment management staff on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on regulatory developments and changes that may impact our investment management activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, finance, or business.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a regulatory compliance role.
  • Business/Commerce: Strong understanding of business and commerce principles, including financial management and services.
  • Finance: Strong understanding of finance principles, including investment management and financial regulations.
Work Setting
  • Financial Management/Services: Experience working in a financial management or services environment.
  • Investment Company: Experience working in an investment company or similar environment.
Supervision
  • No Supervision Responsibility: No supervision responsibility.
Computer and Technology Knowledge
  • Jira: Experience with Jira software.
  • MS Word: Strong Microsoft Word skills.
  • MS Excel: Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • SharePoint: Experience with SharePoint software.
  • MS PowerPoint: Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • MS Outlook: Strong Microsoft Outlook skills.
