KAG Canada is seeking a motivated Administrative Professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
The Terminal Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in executing various departmental tasks that prioritize the well-being and safety of our workforce. This position is under the supervision of the Terminal Manager and provides essential support to our teams in the construction and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage safety protocols and maintain employee records, including data entry tasks.
- Conduct screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for new employees and those returning home after their shifts.
- Organize and oversee committee activities and onsite initiatives for employee engagement events, such as company BBQs, holiday celebrations for children, Driver of the Year awards, Years of Service recognitions, and retirement celebrations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role involving administrative support and data management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of working independently while upholding confidentiality.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
