About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Partner to join our team at Sun Life. As a Business Development Partner, you will play a key role in onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of Advisors to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding and training of developing Advisors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Work closely with Advisors to develop and implement business growth strategies that meet financial and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure Advisors are properly trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Monitor and report on operational effectiveness to ensure adherence to business plans.
Requirements
  • Strong sales management and business development skills.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience in an Advisor role or people leadership role.
  • Valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
