About the Role:

The successful candidate will be a senior member of our Distribution leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Distribution Officer. As the Head of Distribution Canada, you will be responsible for leading the Canadian Distribution team and leveraging the broader resources of Aviva Investors to deliver business development and client retention plans across all three client channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the Canadian market
  • Lead the Canadian Distribution team to deliver business development and client retention plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives
  • Provide market feedback to colleagues to contribute to the enhancement of our products and business
  • Ensure a high-quality service is delivered to clients

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of public and private markets
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent practical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA, Masters in Finance, MBA)
  • Experience of successfully defining and delivering a comprehensive sales strategy
