Head of Distribution Canada

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and client-centric leader to head our Canadian Distribution team. As a senior member of the Distribution leadership team, you will report directly to the Chief Distribution Officer and be responsible for leading the Canadian Distribution efforts to grow the Institutional, Insurance, and Wealth channels in line with objectives agreed with the Global Head of Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Canadian Distribution team and leverage the broader resources of Aviva Investors to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maintain and enhance existing client relationships while ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to clients.
  • Provide market feedback to colleagues to contribute to the continual enhancement of our products and business.
  • Collaborate with the Global Distribution team to align Canadian Distribution efforts with global objectives.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of public and private markets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent practical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements with a consistent record of practical compliance.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications, such as CFA, CAIA, or Masters in Finance.
  • Experience of successfully defining and delivering a comprehensive sales strategy.
