Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead our Capital Markets team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to Capital Markets, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure project success.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring the organization's assets and reputation are protected.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience as a project manager in developing solutions within Capital Markets, with a proven track record of delivering multiple small projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication, proactive, and self-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Exposure to projects related to Kafka/NiFi and Kubernetes, knowledge of mid-office and settlement processes.
  • Certifications: PMI/PMP designations are an asset.
