Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bourbon St. Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, exceeding customer expectations and promoting a positive dining experience.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights for management and informing future business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Personal Qualities

    • Work Term: Permanent
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
