Culinary Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bourbon St. Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, exceeding customer expectations and promoting a positive dining experience.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights for management and informing future business decisions.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
