Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hospitality Inn Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and repair functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repair
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a welcoming atmosphere
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
