Director, Development Operations

At the Nature Conservancy of Canada, we are committed to protecting our most important natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Development Operations to join our team in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the procedures and practices of the ON Development team are aligned with the vision of the ON senior management team.
  • Design, implement, and direct regional development operations, including grants, major gifts, and donor management.
  • Manage development staff, including hiring, onboarding, and performance planning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Development & Communications business plan and budget.
  • Provide development operations reporting details for senior management reports and regional board reports.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organizational and project-management skills.
  • Experience in use of Raiser's Edge or other CRM software and general proficiency in the use of MS Office software.
