We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our team at Thomas Gray Limited. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the planning activities of new-build projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement planning strategies for new build projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and local regulations.
  • Liaise with local authorities, planning committees, and other regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permissions and approvals.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to planning laws and environmental guidelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the planning process.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, including detailed plans, reports, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to planning activities, monitoring expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Research the planning history of development sites and provide appropriate advice.
  • Identify landowners of potential development sites and liaise with landowners/agents throughout the negotiation and acquisition process to ensure successful completion.
