Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for school-age youth, ensuring alignment with quality standards and child protection requirements.
  • Program Administration: Manage program documentation, administrative tasks, and reporting to ensure efficient program delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders to support child development and program success.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure timely and effective resolution of program-related issues.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong reference.
  • 0-2 years of experience in childcare or a related field, with demonstrable evidence of experience linked to the role's responsibilities.
  • Experience working with children, with a focus on physical literacy and cooperative play.
  • Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of school systems and community resources is an asset.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills to work with diverse youth, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and priorities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation.
