Senior Project Manager to Lead Concurrent Ongoing Enterprise Wide Transformation Initiatives

Our valued public sector client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead Concurrent Ongoing Enterprise Wide Transformation Initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide key support, knowledge, recommendations, and strategic planning for senior leadership on new and evolving Enterprise Wide business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project artifacts in accordance with Treasury Board guidelines, including project charters, project management plans, and other relevant documents.
  • Plan and coordinate project management activities, including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.
  • Establish and organize a project management office to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide regular briefings on project progress and concerns to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns, and observations to update management on project progress.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of project personnel, internal customers, contractors, and other support providers.
  • Develop and maintain a formal work breakdown structure and identify project roles and responsibilities.
  • Produce draft plans and sections for incorporation into the project management plan.
  • Develop, plan, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize deliverables and requirements through project schedule and milestone creation.
  • Determine and obtain budgetary requirements, composition, and terms of reference for the team.
  • Monitor the design, implementation, and operations startup of the project against established goals, objectives, and milestones.
  • Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
  • Meet with stakeholders and other project managers to discuss problems and develop solutions.
  • Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
  • Develop project status reports by defining deliverables, identifying key milestones, reviewing project progress, and engaging in ongoing risks, issues, and change management.
  • Coordinate and direct project teams to meet project objectives for content, quality, costs, and schedules.
  • Ensure management staff is provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates.
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan.
