We are looking for a Senior Learning and Development Specialist to enhance our training initiatives at Intact Financial Corporation. In this position, you will take charge of crafting educational programs tailored to support the Compensation divisions. Your role will involve assessing both learner and organizational requirements, creating instructional materials for a diverse workforce, and overseeing multiple projects autonomously. Your proficiency in project management will be essential in developing comprehensive training solutions that address the technical, operational, and interpersonal dimensions pertinent to the Compensation field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate content and establish educational objectives
  • Design, develop, and sustain training frameworks and programs
  • Create instructional content and assessments as required
  • Incorporate educational material when appropriate
  • Remain updated on best practices in training, knowledge transfer, and integration technologies
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the training offerings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Training Management, Educational Technology, or a related discipline
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a comparable position (experience in the insurance sector is advantageous)
  • Proven experience in developing large-scale training initiatives
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Articulate (RISE, Storyline), and Adobe (Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Fluency in French (both spoken and written)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a positive demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes
  • Strong organizational and agile project management skills
  • Creativity, initiative, and a collaborative spirit
