Co-Development Lead Level Designer

Cloud Chamber is seeking a collaborative and experienced Co-Development Lead Level Designer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for bridging communication between our internal Design teams and our trusted external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key communicator, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with internal Design Directors and Leads on project direction, strategic goals, and co-development mandates.
  • Ensure external teams have the necessary resources to produce content aligned with the overall game vision.
  • Review content with external partners and provide feedback aligned with the design direction of the project.
  • Support the co-dev milestone review process to validate contractual deliverables for Level Design.
  • Define and maintain workflows and processes between internal and external teams.
  • Partner closely with Production Stakeholders to ensure Level Design needs for external partners are delivered in a timely manner and milestones are met.
  • Identify and implement best practices and workflows conducive to consistency and deliverability of game content.
  • Implement communication strategies for enhancing the cross-pollination of ideas and sharing of knowledge amongst content creators.
Requirements:
  • Shipped at least one AAA project as a Senior or Lead Designer, with a deep understanding of the complexity of taking an idea from concept to ship.
  • Experience managing processes and a history of leading by example.
  • Self-motivated with an eye for solution-based problem solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, compassionate, and authentic.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a critical eye for detail.
  • Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change for a fast-growing organization.
  • Ability to partner with a diverse group of personalities effectively and constructively.
  • Mature outlook on work ethics and responsibilities.
