About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Management Trainee to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the store team, while successfully executing the company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the store team, ensuring that store standards and processes for merchandising and operations are well executed.
  • Assist in maximizing store profitability by achieving store sales goals, and ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed and in compliance.
  • Create an inclusive environment and set the example for customer engagement that exceeds industry standards.
  • Assume responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence, and provide direct coaching, feedback, training, and supervision of the team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related professional/retail experience, with 1-2 years of retail management experience preferred.
  • A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are a plus, but we are most interested in your experience and achievements.
  • Ability to meet business goals by driving results through store teams, and proven communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
