Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of the organization.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.
