About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at BAINS XPRESS INC. as a key member of our logistics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Logistics Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring seamless coordination with other work units and departments.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Organize and maintain inventory, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Supervise Logistics Team: Lead and supervise a team of 11-15 logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
  • Implement Process Improvements: Analyze and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Manage Computer Systems: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including inventory control software and Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player skills.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with a focus on transportation and freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a private sector setting and have a strong understanding of logistics operations.
