Position: IT Systems Administrator

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Industry: Information Technology / Telecommunications / Technology / Systems Administration

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent / On-site

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Configure, monitor, and manage network and cloud router systems, including Cisco Meraki Cloud and Omada Cloud.
  • Develop mobile device management policies to ensure security and compliance.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity strategies for endpoint, cloud, and application security utilizing Microsoft Defender and other relevant tools.
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery and performance.
  • Enhance communication and collaboration across the organization by establishing and managing various platforms.
  • Administer Azure AD, including user and group management, role assignments, and policy enforcement.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience as a Systems Administrator or in a comparable role.
  • Proficient understanding of network and cloud router software, including Cisco Meraki Cloud, Omada Cloud, and CradlePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools, particularly PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
