Claims Management Leader

About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Leader to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a senior team of claims adjusters handling non-catastrophic files in Ontario.
- Support the specialized handling of facility files.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve key business goals.
- Provide effective leadership, motivate staff, and be responsible for hiring employees and delivering performance feedback.
- Coach staff on technical and professional skills and facilitate continuous learning.
- Develop and implement management and organizational initiatives to support company strategies.
- Act as a consultative and advisory resource on claims matters.
- Liaise with other claims experts on technical and administrative issues.
- Maintain a respectful and productive relationship with vendors, service providers, and internal client groups.
Requirements:
- Prior leadership or at least 3 years of experience in claims handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in coaching and developing staff.
- Strong organization, analytical, and time management skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
