About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Leader to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a senior team of claims adjusters handling non-catastrophic files in Ontario.
  • Support the specialized handling of facility files.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve key business goals.
  • Provide effective leadership, motivate staff, and be responsible for hiring employees and delivering performance feedback.
  • Coach staff on technical and professional skills and facilitate continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement management and organizational initiatives to support company strategies.
  • Act as a consultative and advisory resource on claims matters.
  • Liaise with other claims experts on technical and administrative issues.
  • Maintain a respectful and productive relationship with vendors, service providers, and internal client groups.

Requirements:

  • Prior leadership or at least 3 years of experience in claims handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in coaching and developing staff.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
