Job Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Client Solutions Manager to join our Mining team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business development activities for our Canadian market. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Client Solutions, you will work closely with Bechtel Mining and Metals to support North American business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Bantrel's Strategy Framework process, analyzing market, client, and competitor trends across Canada.
- Maintain relationships with major competitors, contractors, suppliers, and industry associations to gain insights into their strategies and activities.
- Represent Bantrel throughout the industry to build and sustain relationships and brand recognition.
- Collaborate with the Mining General Manager to develop and execute strategies for market development and penetration.
- Oversee proposal development and response processes.
- Manage pursuit risk processes and collaborate with Bantrel legal and project management on prime contract review.
- Participate in prime contract negotiation and project handover to execution teams.
- Lead commercial strategy for pursuits and drive cooperation with Bechtel Global Business Unit.
Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree in Engineering or Construction, with Engineering in an appropriate discipline/specialty preferred.
- 8+ years of industry experience in project execution and/or operations, business development roles within an EPC/EPCM organization.
- Sound knowledge of commercial, economic, and business issues relating to the industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
