Produce Department Lead

Freshco Coliseum 8968 is seeking a dedicated Produce Department Lead to oversee our vibrant produce section.
As the Produce Department Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, freshness, and presentation of our produce offerings. You will lead a team of associates, manage inventory, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of produce department associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste within the produce department.
- Ensure that all produce is properly stocked, displayed, and rotated according to company standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality produce at competitive prices.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare reports on sales performance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably within a produce department.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
