Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Professor to teach Manufacturing Sciences within our Mechanical Engineering program. The ideal candidate will possess relevant industry experience and a passion for student success.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment for students
  • Implement active learning strategies to enhance student comprehension and participation
  • Effectively utilize educational technologies to support instruction and student learning
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of curriculum materials
  • Demonstrate initiative and work independently to achieve program objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with students, program team members, and stakeholders
Required Skills
  • Relevant degree with industry-recognized credentials
  • Minimum five years of recent work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Experience in applied research is an asset
  • Proficiency in using current technologies to enhance student learning
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
  • Understanding of the Ontario college system
