Advanced Practice Clinical Leader

Job Summary:
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, permanent Advanced Practice Clinical Leader in CYEAP. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership in practice development, challenge and motivate others, and commit to enhancing academic and research endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide team-based clinical supervision and advance clinical care for specialized populations, such as child and youth addictions and early psychosis.
* Implement and evaluate best practices in the assessment, care planning, and discharge planning of children and youth with severe mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma histories.
* Provide consultation services to interprofessional teams in other clinical programs across the organization on an as-needed basis.
* Support family engagement initiatives, quality improvement initiatives, and patient and staff safety strategies.
* Preceptorship of graduate students; engagement in evaluation and research; and participation in interprofessional academic opportunities.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in a health sciences discipline and membership in good standing with the respective regulatory college.
* Five years of clinical experience involving clients with mental health and addiction, with eligibility for cross-appointment with the University of Toronto.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, teaching, and computer skills.
