A Glimpse into Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direct oversight to hourly production staff in the designated area
  • Manage safe, cost-efficient, and effective production processes
  • Engage in audits and compliance checks
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing resources, processes, efficiencies, and quality
  • Uphold employee safety and ensure adherence to relevant workplace health and safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures
  • Foster positive relationships with union representatives

Qualifications:

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal, written, reading)
  • Proven leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills
  • Commitment to best manufacturing practices
  • Ability to make sound business decisions
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production atmosphere
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and provincial health and safety standards is advantageous
