- Provide leadership and direct oversight to hourly production staff in the designated area
- Manage safe, cost-efficient, and effective production processes
- Engage in audits and compliance checks
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing resources, processes, efficiencies, and quality
- Uphold employee safety and ensure adherence to relevant workplace health and safety regulations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety procedures
- Foster positive relationships with union representatives
- Administer the terms of the labor agreement
- Maintain open and effective communication with both hourly and salaried personnel

- Be available for overtime as necessary
- Ensure the production line meets established performance targets

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., General Education Development accreditation)
- Three to five years of supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing context
- Strong English communication skills (verbal, written, reading)
- Proven leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills
- Commitment to best manufacturing practices
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production atmosphere
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and provincial health and safety standards is advantageous
