Job Title: Greenhouse Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Southshore Greenhouses Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops, including vegetables such as bell peppers and greenhouse vegetables. This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the greenhouse and its surroundings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Perform hand harvesting of vegetables
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Clean work area
Requirements:

Work Environment:

The work site environment is at heights, hot, and non-smoking. The work setting is in a rural area, specifically in a greenhouse.

Hours of Work:
