About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Southshore Greenhouses Inc. as a Greenhouse Horticulturist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Care: Clean the crops, remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and report signs of insect or disease damage.
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean the greenhouse, water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Task Management: Clean work area, hand harvesting vegetables, and perform other tasks as required.
Work Environment

As a Greenhouse Horticulturist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a rural area with a greenhouse setting.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 60 hours per week.
