Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide clerical assistance to our medical team, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between our medical unit and other departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, arrange for tests and procedures, and maintain accurate schedules.
- Chart Management: Assemble and maintain patient charts, ensuring all necessary documents are up-to-date and accurate.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Timekeeping: Maintain accurate timekeeping records for regular and casual staff, submitting reports as required.
- Education: Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program.
- Experience: One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, deal with others effectively, and operate related equipment.
