Position Overview:
As a Lead Consultant and Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful initiatives across various communities and organizations. Your expertise in organizing and guiding project teams will be essential in achieving strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
1. **Project Leadership:** Oversee projects as the Project Coordinator, which includes managing contract discussions, delegating tasks, leading client meetings, facilitating collaborative sessions, and ensuring adherence to budgetary and scheduling constraints while maintaining client satisfaction with deliverables.
2. **Research Coordination:** Conduct and/or coordinate both quantitative and qualitative research activities, such as literature reviews, case studies, engagement sessions, interviews, and data analysis. Analyze results and formulate strategic recommendations for various projects within the organization.
3. **Content Development:** Write, edit, and produce comprehensive reports, infographics, and presentations, utilizing advanced formatting and design skills to effectively communicate findings.
4. **Business Development:** Take proactive steps in business development efforts, including acquiring new clients, identifying potential markets, and devising and executing strategies for market entry.
5. **Proposal Support:** Assist and occasionally lead the development of proposals for prospective clients, which involves creating work plans, budgets, and recruiting subject matter experts as needed.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Public Administration, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, or Journalism.
- Preferred training in Project Management.
- 5-7 years of experience in independent research for clients using diverse methodologies, including literature reviews, case studies, and data analysis.
- Proven experience in analyzing research and applying insights to provide strategic recommendations.
- 5-7 years of experience in professional writing and communication.

Essential Skills:
- Exceptional writing abilities that are clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Advanced analytical skills, including data analysis and visualization.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Fluency in Mi'kmaw or French.
- Graphic design skills for report production (e.g., InDesign, Canva).
- Financial modeling and analysis capabilities.
- Experience working with Indigenous organizations or communities.
