Lead the Cellular Architecture Team

Abnormal Security is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to spearhead the Cellular Architecture team. This team will be responsible for executing the company's strategic goal of transitioning to a Cellular-based Architecture, a pivotal project to support business growth and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the effort to shape the cloud architecture of Abnormal Security on AWS, aligning with the Cell-based Architecture.
  • Define the architecture of Abnormal Security's data systems to align with the Cell-based architecture.
  • Act as the technical lead of the team, ensuring operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed cloud systems and architectures, preferably on AWS.
  • Experience in building platforms, tools, and systems to empower engineering teams to ship with velocity and reliability.
  • Proficiency in Abnormal Security's Tech Stack: Python, Golang, Terraform / Terragrunt, Postgresql, Kafka, Redis, OpenSearch, AWS, Kubernetes.
  • Experience in scaling a product stack from a single region to multi-region on a commercial cloud platform.
