Staff Software Security Engineer

About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Staff Security Software Engineer to join our Security team. As a key member, you'll design, develop, and implement robust security solutions to protect our users' data and ensure the integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain incident response plans to mitigate security threats
- Design and implement security controls and features to protect user data and comply with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security-related standards and processes
- Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance their security skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 10+ years of combined industry experience with at least 5 years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of relevant threats and defense techniques
- Proficiency in writing high-quality code in multiple languages (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, Ruby, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift)
- Experience with setting up monitoring, metrics, and reporting systems for fine-grained observability
