We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizzeria Piccolo. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to our kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary stock on hand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, meeting the expectations of our customers.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
- Tray and Trolley Management: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our kitchen staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage at all times.
