We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Licensed Practical Nurses, responsible for delivering essential nursing services to our residents.
Position Responsibilities- Medication Management: Administer medications to residents in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as Senior Lifestyle policies.
- Resident Admissions: Participate in the onboarding process for new residents, conducting necessary assessments and completing required documentation.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement both acute and long-term care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Clinical Tracking: Assist in monitoring clinical systems such as wound care and infection control under the guidance of supervisory staff.
- Health Consultations: Provide general health-related advice and support to residents and their families.
- Health Monitoring: Communicate any changes in residents' health status to physicians and family members, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with all departments and team members.
- Educational Initiatives: Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff to promote health awareness.
- Safety Protocols: Understand and adhere to the Safety & Disaster Plan.
- Confidentiality: Uphold the privacy of residents' information at all times.
- Discharge Procedures: Assist with resident discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as required.
Educational Background: Completion of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in senior care or a related field.
Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the practicing state; CPR certification required.
Language Proficiency: Adequate English skills to perform job functions and communicate effectively in emergency situations.
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy is essential.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks safely.
Personal Attributes: Must demonstrate a high level of composure under pressure and the ability to handle critical situations with professionalism.
