Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician Assistant to join our team at PRO SERVICE MECHANICAL LTD. As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems
Work Environment

As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You will also work in cold and refrigerated environments.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Physical Demands: The job is physically demanding and requires bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Work Conditions: You will work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
