Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician Assistant to join our team at PRO SERVICE MECHANICAL LTD. As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will provide support to our experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians in the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including moving tools and equipment, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, and assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices, and perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant and checking regulators.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Work Environment

As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy, dusty, and cold/refrigerated environments. You must be willing to relocate to various work sites and adapt to changing weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires physical stamina, bending, crouching, and kneeling, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
