Job Summary

PRO SERVICE MECHANICAL LTD is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician Assistant to join our team. As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks and projects
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems
Work Environment

As an Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty and cold/refrigerated conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required
  • Physical Demands: The job requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Work Conditions: The job requires working under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
