Reports to: Park Manager

The Park Security Officer role is essential for maintaining the safety and integrity of designated parks within a specific region.

General Responsibilities (but not limited to):

To ensure the designated area is secure, tidy, and operational. To uphold the safety of the designated area. To perform Collector duties when required.

Specific Responsibilities (but not limited to):

To maintain the designated area of the park to a high standard with the necessary tools for effective performance. To possess knowledge of the park, its amenities, and recreational options while demonstrating excellent public relations skills when assisting visitors. To be well-versed in park regulations and communicate them courteously to visitors when necessary. To understand emergency protocols and respond effectively. To uphold a high standard of public safety by advising visitors against unsafe behaviors and intervening before incidents escalate. To manage public order and noise levels, ensuring that all incidents in the designated area are properly documented. To guarantee that emergency vehicle access is maintained at all times within the designated area. To monitor site capacity and ensure that all vehicles and camping gear remain within campsite boundaries. To confirm that only registered campers are present in the designated area after designated hours and that all access points are secured at the scheduled time. To handle enforcement situations with maturity and responsibility.
