Job Summary:

The Park Patrol position is a critical role within RLC Park Services, responsible for ensuring the day-to-day security and maintenance of our parks. As a Park Patrol Officer, you will be the first point of contact for park users and will play a key role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ensuring the Permit area is safe, clean, and functional.
  • Ensure the security of the Permit area and respond to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Conduct duties of the Collector when necessary, including processing permits and managing park facilities.
  • Key Performance Indicators:
    • Maintain a high standard of public safety and security.
    • Ensure park facilities and equipment are well-maintained and functional.
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to park user inquiries.
    • Collaborate with other RLC Park Services teams to ensure a seamless park experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of park regulations and procedures.
