Commercial Specialist Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and client contact to grow the commercial portfolio and expand new client opportunities.
  • Identify prospects in business markets, service clients, determine risks, and present customized insurance solutions.
  • Develop marketing plans to promote insurance offerings and contribute to sales, profitability, and growth goals.
  • Complete risk assessments and commercial inspections in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Work with clients to review goals, provide risk management advice, and recommend coverage.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and business development.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
  • General insurance license.
  • Working towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation.
