Proactive Sales Consultant

Are you passionate about sales and community engagement? Do you have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach? We are seeking a Proactive Sales Consultant to join our team at Miranda Efthimakis - Desjardins Insurance Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively prospect for new clients and opportunities in the community.
  • Concentrate on selling commercial and life insurance products.
  • Join and participate in at least 1 city networking group to enhance business relationships.
  • Engage in community events and trade shows to promote the agency.
  • Develop a strong presence on social media with guidance from the marketing team.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to align with sales targets and goals.
Compensation:

Commission based on sales performance.

Bonuses in line with office and head office promotions.

Benefits provided after a 6-month probation period.

Requirements:
  • Excited about sales and community engagement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
  • Passion for helping people and ensuring that insurance solutions are based on the individual's needs.
  • Eager to obtain both a General Insurance License and a Life Insurance License.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for sales and business growth.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to setting and achieving challenging sales goals on a regular basis.
  • Positive, friendly, and customer-focused.
